Brent and I made our presence once again in Gruene, TX over the weekend for the Partner's Christmas party. My sister was kind enough to come to Houston to watch Wyatt while we were gone. This would be my first time without Wyatt for 2 evenings in a row! And guess what? I survived! :) Thanks Meche! I know you took great care of our little guy!
We stayed at the Gruene Apple Bed & Breakfast again (in the Wild West bedroom). I love all their themes!
A picture of us by the Christmas tree before we took off for the evening:
We all headed over to Gruene Hall on Friday evening to watch Bob Schneider. He was amazing! And of course, we all had a good time. It was my first time at Gruene Hall so it was a pretty neat experience as it's the oldest dance hall in Texas. A few shots from the evening below.
Grabbing a drink before the show:
The Dudleys:
The Boutwells and the Wilcombs:
Can you tell we were having fun? :)
The guys went to play golf on Saturday while the ladies went shopping. I didn't really buy much (just a few cute Christmas ornaments) but it was nice getting out (the day was just too gorgeous) and walking around the town peeking in all the different shops and the vendor stands at the outdoor Christmas market.
Later in the evening we had the white elephant gift exchange (we did pretty good...went home with a digital frame!)...
Before the gift exchange we went out to enjoy the evening by the river (just behind the B&B):
At the gift exchange (Justin and Katherine, Marc and Grace, Jeremy and Deidre, Craig and Amber):
...and then we had the Christmas dinner at Gruene River Grill. Good times!
Thanks Partner's for a wonderful weekend in Gruene, Texas!!!
